ते दहामाना द्रोणेन सूर्येणेव विराजता । दग्धवीर्या निरुत्साहा बभूवुर्गतचेतस:

Transliteration

te dahāmānā droṇena sūryeṇeva virājatā | dagdhavīryā nirutsāhā babhūvur gata-cetasaḥ ||

Translation

ಸೂರ್ಯನಂತೆ ಜ್ವಲಿಸುವ ದ್ರೋಣನಿಂದ ದಹಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟು ಅವರ ವೀರ್ಯ-ಪರಾಕ್ರಮ ಸುಟ್ಟುಹೋಯಿತು; ಅವರು ನಿರುತ್ಸಾಹರಾದರು, ಮನಸ್ಸು ಅಸ್ಥಿರವಾಯಿತು.
