भीमसेनवच: श्रुत्वा द्रोणस्तत्‌ परमाप्रियम्‌ । मनसा सन्नगात्रो$भूदू यथा सैकतमम्भसि

Transliteration

bhīmasenavacaḥ śrutvā droṇas tat paramāpriyam | manasā sannagātro 'bhūd yathā saikatam ambhasi ||

Translation

ಭೀಮಸೇನನ ಪರಮ ಅಪ್ರಿಯ ವಚನಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ದ್ರೋಣನು ಒಳಗಿನಿಂದಲೇ ಕದಲಿಬಿಟ್ಟನು; ಅವನ ಅಂಗಾಂಗಗಳು ಬಲ ಕಳೆದುಕೊಂಡಂತೆ ಮುಳುಗಿದವು. ನೀರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಮರಳು ಕುಸಿಯುವಂತೆ ಅವನ ದೇಹ ಶಿಥಿಲವಾಯಿತು.
