त॑ यमौ पृष्ठतो<न्चैतां रक्षन्तौ पुरुषर्षभौ । द्रोणायाभिमुखं यान्तं दीप्यमानमिवानलम्,प्रज्यलित अग्निके समान तेजस्वी धृष्टद्युम्नको द्रोणाचार्यके सम्मुख जाते देख नरश्रेष्ठ नकुल और सहदेव उनकी रक्षा करते हुए पीछे-पीछे चले
tau yamau pṛṣṭhato 'nv etāṃ rakṣantau puruṣarṣabhau | droṇāyābhimukhaṃ yāntaṃ dīpyamānam ivānalam ||
ಸಂಜಯನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ಪ್ರಜ್ವಲಿತ ಅಗ್ನಿಯಂತೆ ದೀಪ್ತನಾಗಿ ದ್ರೋಣಾಚಾರ್ಯರ ಎದುರಿಗೆ ಸಾಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಧೃಷ್ಟದ್ಯುಮ್ನನನ್ನು ಕಂಡು, ಪುರುಷಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠರಾದ ಯಮಜರು ನಕುಲ ಮತ್ತು ಸಹದೇವರು ಹಿಂದೆ ಹಿಂದೆ ಅನುಸರಿಸಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿದರು.
