अन्ववर्तत राजानं स्वस्ति ते5स्त्विति चाब्रवीत् । दुर्योधनकी यह बात सुनकर द्रोणाचार्यने हँसते हुए-से उसकी बातका अनुमोदन किया और “तुम्हारा कल्याण हो” ऐसा कहकर वे राजा दुर्योधनसे पुन: इस प्रकार बोले-- ।। २३ *॥ को हि गाण्डीवधन्वानं ज्वलन्तमिव तेजसा
sañjaya uvāca | anvavartata rājānaṃ svasti te 'stv iti cābravīt | ko hi gāṇḍīvadhanvānaṃ jvalantam iva tejasā |
ಅವರು ರಾಜನನ್ನು ಅನುಸರಿಸಿ ಹೋಗಿ, “ನಿನಗೆ ಸ್ವಸ್ತಿ ಇರಲಿ” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು. ದುರ್ಯೋಧನನ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ದ್ರೋಣಾಚಾರ್ಯನು ನಗಿದಂತೆಯೇ ಅನುಮೋದನೆ ಸೂಚಿಸಿ, ಮತ್ತೆ “ನಿನಗೆ ಮಂಗಳವಾಗಲಿ” ಎಂದು ರಾಜ ದುರ್ಯೋಧನನಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದರು—“ತೇಜಸ್ಸಿನಿಂದ ಜ್ವಲಿಸುವಂತಿರುವ ಗಾಂಡೀವಧಾರಿ ಅರ್ಜುನನನ್ನು ಯಾರು ಎದುರಿಸಬಲ್ಲರು?”
