Transliteration

vyāsa uvāca karṇam āsādya saṅgrāme diṣṭyā jīvati phālgunaḥ

Translation

ವ್ಯಾಸನು ಹೇಳಿದರು—ಸಂಗ್ರಾಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ಣನನ್ನು ಎದುರಿಸಿದರೂ, ದೈವಾನುಗ್ರಹದಿಂದ ಫಾಲ್ಗುನ (ಅರ್ಜುನ) ಜೀವಂತನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
