हैडिम्बेश्वैव घातेन मोहो मामाविशन्महान् | उन महाबाहु नरेशने भीमसेनसे इस प्रकार कहा--“महाबाहो! तुम्हीं दुर्योधनकी सेनाको रोको। घटोत्कचके मारे जानेसे मेरे मनमें महान् मोह छा गया है"

ಸಂಜಯನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ಹೈಡಿಂಬನ ಪುತ್ರ ಘಟೋತ್ಕಚನ ವಧದಿಂದ ಮಹಾಮೋಹವು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಆವರಿಸಿದೆ. ನಂತರ ಅವನು ಮಹಾಬಾಹು ರಾಜ ಧೃತರಾಷ್ಟ್ರನಿಗೆ ಹೀಗೆಂದನು—“ಮಹಾಬಾಹೋ! ನೀನೇ ದುರ್ಯೋಧನನ ಸೇನೆಯನ್ನು ತಡೆ. ಘಟೋತ್ಕಚನು ನಿಹತನಾದ ಕಾರಣ ನನ್ನ ಮನಸ್ಸಿಗೆ ಭಾರೀ ಗೊಂದಲ ಆವರಿಸಿದೆ.”
