sa mārgaṇagaṇaiḥ karṇo diśaḥ pracchādya sarvaśaḥ
ಕರ್ಣನು ಬಾಣಗಳ ದಟ್ಟ ಗುಂಪುಗಳಿಂದ ಎಲ್ಲ ದಿಕ್ಕುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಸರ್ವತಃ ಮುಚ್ಚಿಬಿಟ್ಟನು.
संजय उवाच
