संछिन्दन्तौ च गात्राणि संदधानौ च सायकान्‌

Transliteration

saṃchindantau ca gātrāṇi saṃdadhānau ca sāyakān

Translation

ಸಂಜಯನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ಅವರು ಪರಸ್ಪರ ಅಂಗಗಳನ್ನು ಛೇದಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು, ಮತ್ತೆ ತಕ್ಷಣವೇ ಬಾಣಗಳನ್ನು ಬಿಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಸಂಧಾನಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು; ಇದು ಯುದ್ಧದ ಕಠೋರ ಲಯ—ಗಾಯದ ಬಳಿಕ ವಿರಾಮವಿಲ್ಲ, ಕೂಡಲೇ ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಪ್ರಹಾರದ ಸಿದ್ಧತೆ.
