धृष्टद्युम्नो महाराज द्रोणं विद्ध्वा त्रिभि: शरै:

Transliteration

dhṛṣṭadyumno mahārāja droṇaṃ viddhvā tribhiḥ śaraiḥ

Translation

ಸಂಜಯನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ಮಹಾರಾಜ, ಧೃಷ್ಟದ್ಯುಮ್ನನು ದ್ರೋಣನನ್ನು ಮೂರು ಬಾಣಗಳಿಂದ ವಿದ್ಧಮಾಡಿ ಮತ್ತಷ್ಟು ತೀವ್ರವಾಗಿ ದಾಳಿ ಮುಂದುವರಿಸಿದನು; ಯುದ್ಧದ ಮಿತಿಗಳು ಒಮ್ಮೆ ದಾಟಿದ ಮೇಲೆ, ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಪೂಜ್ಯ ಗುರು ಕೂಡ ರಣಾಂಗಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಯೋಧನಾಗಿಯೇ ಪರಿಗಣಿತನಾಗುತ್ತಾನೆ।
