avadhīt samare putraḥ pitā bharatasattama

Translation

ಸಂಜಯನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ಭರತಸತ್ತಮನೇ! ಆ ಘೋರ ಸಮರದಲ್ಲಿ ಪುತ್ರನು ಪಿತೆಯನ್ನು ವಧಿಸಿದನು; ಇದು ಸ್ವಧರ್ಮವಿಪರ್ಯಾಸ, ಯುದ್ಧಮೋಹದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ವಜನರು ಸ್ವಜನರನ್ನೇ ಸಂಹರಿಸಲಾರಂಭಿಸಿದರು.
