बभौ निशामुखे व्योम खद्योतैरिव संवृतम् । अस्त्रोंके परस्पर टकरानेसे जो चारों ओर चिनगारियाँ छूट रही थीं, उनसे आकाश प्रदोषकालमें जुगनुओंसे व्याप्त-सा जान पड़ता था

ರಾತ್ರಿಯ ಆರಂಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಕಾಶವು ಖದ್ಯೋತಗಳಿಂದ ಆವೃತವಾದಂತೆ ಪ್ರಕಾಶಿಸಿತು. ಅಸ್ತ್ರಗಳು ಪರಸ್ಪರ ಡಿಕ್ಕಿಹೊಡೆದು ಎಲ್ಲ ದಿಕ್ಕಿಗೂ ಚಿಮ್ಮಿದ ಕಿಡಿಗಳಿಂದ, ಸಂಧ್ಯಾಕಾಲದ ಗಗನವು ಜುಗುಪುಟಗಳಿನಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿದಂತೆ ಕಾಣುತ್ತಿತ್ತು.
