Nārāyaṇāstra-utpātaḥ — Aśvatthāman’s Rallying Roar after Droṇa’s Fall (द्रोणपर्व, अध्याय १६७)
शैनेयं शरवर्षाणि विकिरन्तं समन्तत: । अभ्ययात् कौरवो राजन भूरि: संग्राममूर्थनि,राजन! युद्धके मुहानेपर चारों ओर बाणोंकी बौछार करते हुए शिनिपौत्र सात्यकिपर कुरुवंशी भूरिने धावा किया
śaineyaṁ śaravarṣāṇi vikirantaṁ samantataḥ | abhyayāt kauravo rājan bhūriḥ saṅgrāmamūrdhani ||
ಸಂಜಯನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ರಾಜನ್! ಸಮರದ ಶಿಖರದಲ್ಲಿ ಎಲ್ಲೆಡೆ ಬಾಣವೃಷ್ಟಿ ಚೆಲ್ಲುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಶೈನೇಯ (ಸಾತ್ಯಕಿ) ಮೇಲೆ ಕೌರವ ಭೂರಿಯು ಧಾವಿಸಿದನು.
