ಯುದ್ಧದ ಘರ್ಷಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾವಿರಾರು ಮಹಾರಥಿಗಳು ಪರಸ್ಪರ ಒಬ್ಬರನ್ನೊಬ್ಬರು ಸಂಹರಿಸಿದರು—ಯುದ್ಧದ ಆತ್ಮಭಕ್ಷಕ ಉಗ್ರತೆ, ಶೌರ್ಯವೇ ಪರಸ್ಪರ ವಿನಾಶವಾಗುವ ದೃಶ್ಯ.
