दुर्योधन–द्रोणसंवादः
Arjuna-vīrya-prasaṃśā and renewed battle formation
सो5हमद्य रणे यत्तौ सहितौ कृष्णपाण्डवौ । उत्सहे मनसा जेतुं ततो गर्जामि गौतम,“गौतम! आज मैं रणभूमिमें विजयके लिये साथ-साथ प्रयत्न करनेवाले श्रीकृष्ण और अर्जुनको जीत लेनेके लिये मन-ही-मन उत्साह रखता हूँ। इसीलिये गर्जना करता हूँ
so 'ham adya raṇe yatnau sahitau kṛṣṇa-pāṇḍavau | utsahe manasā jetuṃ tato garjāmi gautama ||
ಗೌತಮನೇ! ಇಂದು ಯುದ್ಧಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಜಯಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಜೊತೆಯಾಗಿ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಕೃಷ್ಣನನ್ನೂ ಪಾಂಡವನನ್ನೂ (ಅರ್ಜುನನನ್ನೂ) ನಾನು ಮನಸ್ಸಿನಲ್ಲೇ ಜಯಿಸುವ ಧೈರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ನಾನು ಗರ್ಜಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.
