Transliteration

tam āyāntam abhiprekṣya yudhiṣṭhira-purogamāḥ

Translation

ಅವನು ಸಮೀಪಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವುದನ್ನು ಕಂಡು ಯುಧಿಷ್ಠಿರನು ಮುನ್ನಡೆಸಿದ ಪಾಂಡವಪಕ್ಷವು ಎಚ್ಚರದಿಂದ ಅವನತ್ತ ದೃಷ್ಟಿ ನೆಟ್ಟಿತು—ಯುದ್ಧದ ತುರ್ತುತನ ಮತ್ತು ಧರ್ಮಸಂಕಟದ ಒತ್ತಡದ ನಡುವೆ ಅವನ ಆಗಮನದ ಅರ್ಥವನ್ನು ಗ್ರಹಿಸಲು.
