निशायां प्रत्यदृश्यन्त मेघा इव सविद्युत: । वहाँ रात्रिमें सुवर्णभपूषित हाथी और रथ बिजलीसहित मेघोंके समान दिखायी दे रहे थे

Transliteration

niśāyāṁ pratyadṛśyanta meghā iva savidyutaḥ |

Translation

ಸಂಜಯನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ರಾತ್ರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ಮಿಂಚುಳ್ಳ ಮೋಡಗಳಂತೆ ಕಾಣುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು; ಚಿನ್ನದ ಆಭರಣಗಳಿಂದ ಅಲಂಕರಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಆನೆಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ರಥಗಳು ಕತ್ತಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಳಪಿನಿಂದ ಮಿನುಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದವು.
