वारणाश्न महाराज समासाद्य परस्परम्‌ । विषाणैर्दारयामासु: सुसंक़्रुद्धा मदोत्कटा:

Transliteration

vāraṇāś ca mahārāja samāsādya parasparam | viṣāṇair dārayāmāsuḥ susaṅkruddhā madotkaṭāḥ ||

Translation

ಮಹಾರಾಜ, ಆನೆಗಳು ಪರಸ್ಪರ ಸಮೀಪಿಸಿ, ತೀವ್ರ ಕ್ರೋಧದಿಂದ ಮದೋನ್ಮತ್ತರಾಗಿ, ದಂತಗಳಿಂದ ಒಬ್ಬರನ್ನೊಬ್ಬರು ಹರಿದು ಚೀರುತ್ತಿದ್ದವು।
