मर्म भित्त्वा तु ते सर्वे संलग्ना: क्षितिमाविशन् | साथ ही, उन्होंने अच्छी तरह चलाये हुए दस पैने बाणोंसे दुर्योधनको भी घायल कर दिया। वे सारे बाण दुर्योधनके मर्मस्थानोंमें लगकर उन्हें विदीर्ण करते हुए पृथ्वीमें समा गये

ಸಂಜಯನು ಹೇಳಿದನು— ಅವರು ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿ ಗುರಿ ಹಿಡಿದು ಬಿಡಿಸಿದ ಹತ್ತು ತೀಕ್ಷ್ಣ ಬಾಣಗಳಿಂದ ದುರ್ಯೋಧನನನ್ನೂ ಗಾಯಗೊಳಿಸಿದರು. ಆ ಎಲ್ಲ ಬಾಣಗಳು ದುರ್ಯೋಧನನ ಮರ್ಮಸ್ಥಾನಗಳನ್ನು ಭೇದಿಸಿ, ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಗಟ್ಟಿಯಾಗಿ ಅಂಟಿಕೊಂಡು, ಚೀರಿಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗುತ್ತ ಕೊನೆಗೆ ಭೂಮಿಯೊಳಗೆ ಮುಳುಗಿದವು।
