Adhyāya 141 — Night duels: Śaineya and Bhūriśravas; Droṇi and Ghaṭotkaca; Bhīma and Duryodhana
ताडितो भीमसेनेन क्रोधादारक्तलोचन: । विहसन्निव राधेयो वाक्यमेतदुवाच ह,भीमसेनकी मार खाकर राधापुत्र कर्णकी आँखें लाल हो गयीं। उसने हँसते हुए-से यह बात कही--
tāḍito bhīmasenena krodhād āraktalocanaḥ | vihasann iva rādheyo vākyam etad uvāca ha ||
ಭೀಮಸೇನನ ಹೊಡೆತದಿಂದ ರಾಧೇಯ ಕರ್ಣನು ಕ್ರೋಧದಿಂದ ಕೆಂಪುಕಣ್ಣಾದನು; ಆದರೂ ನಗುವಿನಂತೆ ಈ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
