Transliteration

sāpatad daśadhā chinnā karṇasya niśitaiḥ śaraiḥ

Translation

ಸಂಜಯನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ಕರ್ಣನ ತೀಕ್ಷ್ಣ ಬಾಣಗಳಿಂದ ಅದು ಹತ್ತು ತುಂಡುಗಳಾಗಿ ಕತ್ತರಿಸಿ ನೆಲಕ್ಕೆ ಬಿದ್ದಿತು; ಇದು ರಣದ ನಿರ್ದಯ ನಿಖರತೆಯ ಚಿತ್ರ—ಸಹೋದರಯುದ್ಧದ ಧರ್ಮಭಾರದ ಮಧ್ಯೆಯೂ ಶೌರ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಕಲ್ಪವೇ ಫಲಿತಾಂಶವನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಧರಿಸುವುದು.
