ततो भीमो महाबाहु: संरम्भी दृढविक्रम: । अस्त्रैरस्त्राणि संवार्य शरैरविव्याध सूतजम्,तदनन्तर क्रोधमें भरे हुए सुदृढ़ पराक्रमी महाबाहु भीमसेनने अपने अस्त्रोंद्वारा कर्णके अस्त्रोंका निवारण करके उसे बाणोंसे बींध डाला
tato bhīmo mahābāhuḥ saṃrambhī dṛḍhavikramaḥ | astrair astrāṇi saṃvārya śarair avivyādha sūtajam ||
ಆಗ ಮಹಾಬಾಹು, ದೃಢವಿಕ್ರಮ ಮತ್ತು ಕ್ರೋಧದಿಂದ ಉರಿದ ಭೀಮನು ತನ್ನ ಅಸ್ತ್ರಗಳಿಂದ ಕರ್ಣನ ಅಸ್ತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ತಡೆದು, ಶರವೃಷ್ಟಿಯಿಂದ ಸೂತಪುತ್ರನನ್ನು ಭೇದಿಸಿದನು।
