Transliteration

sañjaya uvāca | nārācān krodha-tāmrākṣaḥ praiṣīn mṛtyum ivāntakaḥ |

Translation

ಸಂಜಯನು ಹೇಳಿದನು— ನಂತರ ಕ್ರೋಧದಿಂದ ಕೆಂಪಾದ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳಿದ್ದ ಅರ್ಜುನನು ಅತೀವ ವೇಗದಿಂದ ಕರ್ಣನನ್ನು ಗುರಿಮಾಡಿ ಒಂದು ನಾರಾಚವನ್ನು ಪ್ರಯೋಗಿಸಿದನು; ಅದು ಅಂತಕನು (ಯಮನು) ಯಾರಿಗೋ ಮರಣವನ್ನೇ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದಂತೆ ತೋಚಿತು।
