अन्धकार-रजःसंमूढे रणाङ्गणे प्रदीपप्रकाशः | Illumination of the Army in Darkness and Dust
रथं चान्यं समास्थाय विधिवत् कल्पितं पुनः । अभ्ययात् पाण्डवं युद्धे त्वरमाण: पराक्रमी,फिर उस पराक्रमी वीरने विधिपूर्वक सजाये हुए दूसरे रथपर बैठकर युद्धमें शीघ्रतापूर्वक पाण्डुपुत्र भीमसेनपर धावा किया
sañjaya uvāca | rathaṃ cānyaṃ samāsthāya vidhivat kalpitaṃ punaḥ | abhyayāt pāṇḍavaṃ yuddhe tvaramāṇaḥ parākramī ||
ನಂತರ ಆ ಪರಾಕ್ರಮಶಾಲಿ ವೀರನು ವಿಧಿಪೂರ್ವಕವಾಗಿ ಮತ್ತೆ ಸಿದ್ಧಪಡಿಸಿದ ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ರಥವನ್ನು ಏರಿ, ಯುದ್ಧದಲ್ಲಿ ತ್ವರೆಯಿಂದ ಪಾಂಡವ ಭೀಮಸೇನನ ಮೇಲೆ ಧಾವಿಸಿದನು.
संजय उवाच
The verse highlights disciplined readiness (vidhivat kalpita) as integral to kṣatriya conduct: in war, resolve must be matched by proper preparation, so that action proceeds within the accepted rules and order of the battlefield.
Sañjaya narrates that a powerful warrior, after taking a newly prepared chariot, rushes into the fight and charges toward the Pāṇḍava Bhīmasena, intensifying the immediate combat situation.
