भीमो धनंजयान्वेषी कस्तमाच्छेज्जिजीविषु: । जो भीमसेन अकेले ही द्रोणाचार्यको मथकर धनंजयका पता लगानेके लिये मेरी सेनामें घुस आये, उनका सामना करनेके लिये जीवित रहनेकी इच्छावाला कौन पुरुष जा सकता है?

Transliteration

dhṛtarāṣṭra uvāca | bhīmo dhanañjayānveṣī kastam ācchij jijīviṣuḥ |

Translation

ಧೃತರಾಷ್ಟ್ರನು ಹೇಳಿದನು— ಧನಂಜಯನನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕುತ್ತಾ ಬರುವ ಭೀಮನನ್ನು—ಬದುಕಬೇಕೆಂದು ಬಯಸುವವನು ಯಾರು ತಡೆಯಬಲ್ಲನು? ಅವನು ಒಬ್ಬನೇ ದ್ರೋಣಾಚಾರ್ಯನನ್ನು ಮಥಿಸಿ, ಧನಂಜಯನ ಸುಳಿವು ಹುಡುಕಲು ನನ್ನ ಸೇನೆಯೊಳಗೆ ನುಗ್ಗಿಬಂದರೆ, ಅವನ ಎದುರು ನಿಲ್ಲಲು ಜೀವಾಪೇಕ್ಷೆಯಿರುವ ಯಾವ ಪುರುಷನು ಧೈರ್ಯಪಡಬಲ್ಲನು?
