Droṇa Encircled at Night: Coalition Advance and Battlefield Omens (द्रोणपर्यावरणं रात्रियुद्धवर्णनम्)
त॑ं प्रयान््तं महाबाहुं पडचाला: सहसोमका: । पृष्ठतोडनुययु: शूरा मघवन्तमिवामरा:,इस प्रकार यात्रा करते हुए महाबाहु भीमसेनके पीछे पांचाल और सोमक वीर भी चले, मानो देवगण देवराज इन्द्रका अनुसरण कर रहे हों
taṁ prayāntaṁ mahābāhuṁ pāñcālāḥ saha-somakāḥ | pṛṣṭhato 'nuyayuḥ śūrā maghavāntam ivāmarāḥ ||
ಸಂಜಯನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ಮಹಾಬಾಹು ಭೀಮಸೇನನು ಮುಂದಕ್ಕೆ ಸಾಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾಗ, ಪಾಂಚಾಲರು ಮತ್ತು ಸೋಮಕ ಶೂರರು ಅವನ ಹಿಂದೆ ಹಿಂದೆ ಅನುಸರಿಸಿದರು—ದೇವಗಣಗಳು ಮಘವಂತನಾದ ಇಂದ್ರನನ್ನು ಅನುಸರಿಸುವಂತೆ.
