Duryodhana’s Incursion and the Tumult of Battle
तथैव वृष्णिवीरे5पि सात्वते युद्धदुर्मदे । अतिभारे नियुक्तश्न मया शैनेयनन्दन:,'शत्रुसूदन अर्जुनपर जैसा मेरा प्रेम है, वैसा ही रणदुर्मद वृष्णिवंशी वीर सात्यकिपर भी है। मैंने शिनिवंशका आनन्द बढ़ानेवाले सात्यकिको महान् कार्यभार सौंप रखा था
tathaiva vṛṣṇivīre 'pi sātvatē yuddha-durmade | atibhāre niyuktaś ca mayā śaineya-nandanaḥ ||
ಸಂಜಯನು ಹೇಳಿದನು— “ಅದೇ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾತ್ವತ ವಂಶದ, ಯುದ್ಧದ ಉನ್ಮತ್ತತೆಯುಳ್ಳ ವೃಷ್ಣಿವೀರ ಸಾತ್ಯಕಿಯ ಮೇಲೂ ನನಗೆ ಅದೇ ಪ್ರೀತಿ ಇದೆ. ಶಿನಿಯ ಪುತ್ರನಾದ ಶೈನೇಯನು—ತನ್ನ ವಂಶಕ್ಕೆ ಆನಂದ ತರುವವನು—ಅವನನ್ನು ನಾನು ಅತಿಭಾರವಾದ ಹೊಣೆಗಾರಿಕೆಗೆ ನಿಯೋಜಿಸಿದ್ದೆನು.”
