Duryodhana–Karna Dialogue on Vyūha-bheda and Daiva
ब्राह्मणेन तपो नूनं चरितं दुश्चरं महत् । तथा हि युधि संक्रुद्धों दहति क्षत्रियर्षभान्
brāhmaṇena tapo nūnaṃ caritaṃ duścaraṃ mahat | tathā hi yudhi saṃkruddho dahati kṣatriyarṣabhān ||
ಸಂಜಯನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ಈ ಬ್ರಾಹ್ಮಣನು ಮಹತ್ತಾದ ಮತ್ತು ದುಶ್ಚರ ತಪಸ್ಸನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಯುದ್ಧದಲ್ಲಿ ಕ್ರೋಧಗೊಂಡಾಗ ಅವನು ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠ ಕ್ಷತ್ರಿಯರನ್ನು ದಹಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ।
