धृतराष्ट्र-संजय-संवादः — सात्यकि-अलम्बुसयोर्युद्धवर्णनम्

स व्यतीयाय यत्रोग्रं कर्णस्य च महद् बलम् | सारथिसे ऐसा कहकर सात्यकि ब्राह्मण द्रोणाचार्यको छोड़ते हुए सबको लाँधकर उस स्थानपर जा पहुँचे जहाँ कर्णकी भयंकर एवं विशाल सेना खड़ी थी ।। ४२ $ ।। त॑ं द्रोणोडनुययौ क्रुद्धो विकिरन् विशिखान् बहून्
taṁ droṇo 'nuyayau kruddho vikirann iṣikān bahūn
ಅವನು ಎಲ್ಲರನ್ನೂ ದಾಟಿ ಕರ್ಣನ ಉಗ್ರವಾದ ಮಹಾಬಲ ಇರುವ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ತಲುಪಿದನು. ಆಗ ಕ್ರುದ್ಧನಾದ ದ್ರೋಣನು ಅನೇಕ ಬಾಣಗಳನ್ನು ಸುರಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಅವನನ್ನು ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸಿದನು.
