नदीं प्रावर्तयामास रक्षोगणसमाकुलाम् । वहन्तीं बहुधा राजंश्वेदिपडणचालसूञ्जयान्
sañjaya uvāca |
nadīṁ prāvartayāmāsa rakṣogaṇasamākulām |
vahantīṁ bahudhā rājan cedipaṇḍanacālasūñjayān ||
ಸಂಜಯನು ಹೇಳಿದರು—ರಾಜನೇ, ಅವನು ರಾಕ್ಷಸಗಣಗಳಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿದ ನದಿಯೊಂದನ್ನು ಹರಿಯುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದನು; ಅದು ಮರುಮರು ಚೇದಿ, ಪಾಂಚಾಲ ಮತ್ತು ಸೃಂಜಯರನ್ನು ಹೊತ್ತುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗುವಂತಿತ್ತು.
