गोवृषो गौतमस्यासीत् कृपस्य सुपरिष्कृत: । स तेन भ्राजते राजन् गोवृषेण महारथ:
govṛṣo gautamasyāsīt kṛpasya supariṣkṛtaḥ | sa tena bhrājate rājan govṛṣeṇa mahārathaḥ ||
ಸಂಜಯನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ಓ ರಾಜನೇ! ಗೌತಮನಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿದ ಸುಸಂಸ್ಕೃತವಾಗಿ ಅಲಂಕರಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಗೋವೃಷ-ಧ್ವಜವು ಈಗ ಕೃಪನ ಅಧೀನದಲ್ಲಿದೆ. ಆ ಗೋವೃಷ-ಚಿಹ್ನದಿಂದ ಆ ಮಹಾರಥಿ ಯುದ್ಧಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಕಾಶಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ.
