The verse underscores the collective responsibility and resolve of allied Kṣatriya forces: named warriors and entire groups are acknowledged as present and committed, reflecting the dharma of standing with one’s side in a righteous cause as understood within the epic’s war context.

Sañjaya is enumerating notable fighters and allied contingents—Abhimanyu, the Draupadeyas, the Kekayas, and the Daśārṇa ruler Kṣatradeva—indicating their participation and readiness within the unfolding Kurukṣetra battle account.
