स तेन बलिना वीरश्छिद्यमान इरावता
sa tena balinā vīraś chidyamāna irāvatā
ಸಂಜಯನು ಹೇಳಿದರು—ಬಲಿಷ್ಠನಾದ ಇರಾವಾನನಿಂದ ಛಿದ್ರಗೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದರೂ ಆ ವೀರನು ರಣಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಚಲವಾಗಿ ನಿಂತು ಆಕ್ರಮಣವನ್ನು ಎದುರಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು—ಧರ್ಮಯುದ್ಧದ ಕ್ರೂರತೆಯ ಮಧ್ಯೆ ಸ್ಥೈರ್ಯ-ಧೈರ್ಯದ ಮೂರ್ತಿಯಂತೆ।
