चित्रोपलां चित्ररथां मज्जुलां वाहिनीं तथा । मन्दाकिनीं वैतरणीं कोषां चापि महानदीम्
citropalāṁ citrarathāṁ majjulāṁ vāhinīṁ tathā | mandākinīṁ vaitaraṇīṁ koṣāṁ cāpi mahānadīm ||
ಸಂಜಯನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ಚಿತ್ರೋಪಲಾ, ಚಿತ್ರರಥಾ, ಮಜ್ಜುಲಾ, ವಾಹಿನೀ; ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಮಂದಾಕಿನೀ, ವೈತರಣೀ, ಕೋಷಾ, ಮಹಾನದಿ—ಎಂಬ ಹೆಸರುಳ್ಳ (ಕ್ರಮಬದ್ಧ) ವಿಭಾಗಗಳನ್ನೂ ನಾನು ಕಂಡೆನು.
