निस्त्रिंशवेगाभिहतौ ततस्तौ पुरुषर्षभौ | धरणीं समनुप्राप्ती सर्वभूतनिषेविताम्,तलवारकी गहरी चोटसे घायल होकर वे दोनों पुरुषश्रेष्ठ सम्पूर्ण भूतोंकी निवासभूत पृथ्वीपर गिर पड़े
nistriṁśa-vegābhihatau tatastau puruṣarṣabhau | dharaṇīṁ samanuprāptī sarvabhūta-niṣevitām ||
ಕತ್ತಿಯ ವೇಗದ ಪ್ರಹಾರದಿಂದ ಗಾಯಗೊಂಡ ಆ ಇಬ್ಬರು ಪುರುಷಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠರು, ಸರ್ವಭೂತಗಳ ಆಶ್ರಯವಾದ ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಿದ್ದುಹೋದರು.
