बाढमित्येवमुक्त्वा तु तान्यनीकानि सर्वशः । नरेन्द्राणां महाराज समाजग्मु: पितामहम्,महाराज! “बहुत अच्छा” कहकर राजाओंकी वे सम्पूर्ण सेनाएँ पितामह भीष्मके पास गयीं
bāḍham ity evam uktvā tu tāny anīkāni sarvaśaḥ | narendrāṇāṃ mahārāja samājagmuḥ pitāmaham ||
ಮಹಾರಾಜ, “ಹಾಗೇ ಆಗಲಿ” ಎಂದು ಉತ್ತರಿಸಿ, ರಾಜರ ಆ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸೇನಾವ್ಯೂಹಗಳು ಎಲ್ಲೆಡೆಯಿಂದಲೂ ಪಿತಾಮಹ ಭೀಷ್ಮನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿಕೊಂಡವು.
संजय उवाच
The verse highlights disciplined assent and collective alignment under rightful command: once a decision is accepted (“bāḍham”), the forces act in unity, reflecting the kṣatriya ethic of organized obedience and readiness for duty in war.
After agreeing (“Very well”), the various royal contingents and battle-arrays gather together and approach Bhīṣma, the Grandsire, indicating that the kings’ armies are rallying under his leadership as the conflict proceeds.
