महाव्यूहप्रवर्तनम् / Deployment of the Great Battle Arrays
रणे तवार्थाय महानुभाव न जीवितं रक्ष्यतमं ममाद्य | सर्वास्तवार्थाय सदेवदैत्यान् घोरान् दहेयं किमु शत्रुसेनाम्
raṇe tavārthāya mahānubhāva na jīvitaṁ rakṣyatamaṁ mamādya | sarvāstavārthāya sadevadaityān ghorān daheyaṁ kimu śatrusenām ||
ಸಂಜಯನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ಮಹಾನುಭಾವನೇ! ಈ ರಣದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನ್ನಿಗಾಗಿ ಇಂದು ನನ್ನ ಜೀವವನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದೂ ನನಗೆ ರಕ್ಷ್ಯವೆನಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ನಿನ್ನಿಗಾಗಿ ದೇವರೊಡನೆ ಭಯಂಕರ ದೈತ್ಯರನ್ನೂ ದಹಿಸಬಲ್ಲೆನು; ಇನ್ನೂ ಶತ್ರುಸೇನೆಯ ಮಾತೇನು!
