तेषां सुतुमुलं युद्ध व्यतिषक्तरथद्धिपम् । अवर्तत महारीौद्रे निघध्नतामितरेतरम्
teṣāṁ sutumulaṁ yuddhaṁ vyatiṣakta-ratha-dvipam | avartata mahāraudre nighnatām itaretaram ||
ಆಮೇಲೆ ರಥಗಳೂ ಗಜಗಳೂ ಪರಸ್ಪರ ಬೆರೆತು ಡಿಕ್ಕಿಹೊಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದಂತೆ, ಆ ಮಹಾರಥಿಗಳ ನಡುವೆ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಭೀಕರವಾದ, ಗದ್ದಲಮಯ ಯುದ್ಧವು ಉಕ್ಕಿಬಂತು; ಆ ಮಹಾ-ರೌದ್ರ ಸಮರದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ಒಬ್ಬರನ್ನೊಬ್ಬರು ನಿರಂತರವಾಗಿ ಹೊಡೆದರು.
