अध्याय ८० — मध्यंदिन-रणवृत्तान्तः

बाढमित्येवमुक्त्वा तु सर्वे पुरुषमानिन: । मध्यन्दिनगते सूर्ये प्रययु: सर्व एव हि,युधिष्ठिरकी ऐसी आज्ञा पाकर पराक्रमपूर्वक युद्ध करनेवाले वे पुरुषमानी समस्त शूरवीर “बहुत अच्छा' कहकर दोपहर होते-होते वहाँसे चल दिये
bāḍham ity evam uktvā tu sarve puruṣa-māninaḥ | madhyandina-gate sūrye prayayuḥ sarva eva hi ||
ಸಂಜಯನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ಹೀಗೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ಆ ಎಲ್ಲ ಸ್ವಾಭಿಮಾನಿ ಶೂರರು “ಬಾಢಂ” ಎಂದು ಉತ್ತರಿಸಿದರು. ಸೂರ್ಯನು ಮಧ್ಯಾಹ್ನಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದಾಗ, ಅವರು ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಯುಧಿಷ್ಠಿರನ ಆಜ್ಞೆಯನ್ನು ಅಂಗೀಕರಿಸಿ ಹೊರಟರು.
