भीष्मस्य भीमसेन-निरोधः

यत्‌ तु मे कथितं तात मुनिभिर्भावितात्मभि: । पुराणगीतं धर्मज्ञ तच्छुणुष्व यथातथम्‌,तात धर्मज्ञ! पवित्र अन्तःकरणवाले मुनियोंने मुझसे जो पुराणप्रतिपादित यथार्थ बातें कही हैं, उन्हें बताता हूँ, सुनो

yat tu me kathitaṃ tāta munibhir bhāvitātmabhiḥ | purāṇagītaṃ dharmajña tac chṛṇuṣva yathātatham ||

ತಾತ ಧರ್ಮಜ್ಞನೇ! ಭಾವಿತಾತ್ಮರಾದ ಮುನಿಗಳು ನನಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ ಪುರಾಣಗೀತವಾದ ಯಥಾರ್ಥ ವಚನವನ್ನು ಯಥಾತಥವಾಗಿ ಕೇಳು.
