भीष्मस्य भीमसेन-निरोधः
Bhīṣma checks Bhīmasena; matched engagements intensify
तेनावध्या रणे पार्था जययुक्ताश्च पार्थिव । तव पुत्रा दुरात्मान: पापेष्वभिरता: सदा
tenāvadhyā raṇe pārthā jayayuktāś ca pārthiva | tava putrā durātmānaḥ pāpeṣv abhiratāḥ sadā ||
ಸಂಜಯನು ಹೇಳಿದನು— ಆದಕಾರಣ, ಓ ರಾಜನೇ, ಯುದ್ಧದಲ್ಲಿ ಪೃಥಾಪುತ್ರರಾದ ಪಾಂಡವರು ಅವಧ್ಯರು, ಸದಾ ಜಯದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಯುಕ್ತರು; ಆದರೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಪುತ್ರರು ದುರಾತ್ಮರು, ನಿತ್ಯ ಪಾಪಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಆಸಕ್ತರು.
