भीमसेनस्य प्रतिघातः—भगदत्तगजप्रहारः—घटोत्कचमायायुद्धम्

अर्धचन्द्रेण व्यूहेन व्यूहं तमतिदारुणम् । दक्षिणं शुड्रमास्थाय भीमसेनो व्यरोचत
sañjaya uvāca | ardhacandreṇa vyūhena vyūhaṃ tam atidāruṇam | dakṣiṇaṃ śṛṅgam āsthāya bhīmaseno vyarocata ||
ಸಂಜಯನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ಅತಿದಾರುಣವಾದ ಆ ವ್ಯೂಹವನ್ನು ಎದುರಿಸಲು ಅರ್ಧಚಂದ್ರಾಕಾರದ ವ್ಯೂಹವನ್ನು ರಚಿಸಿ, ಅದರ ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಶೃಂಗ—ಬಲ ಪಕ್ಕದಲ್ಲಿ—ಸ್ಥಾನ ಪಡೆದ ಭೀಮಸೇನನು ಪ್ರಕಾಶಿಸಿದನು।
