भीमसेनस्य गदायुद्ध-प्रभावः

लक्ष्मणस्तव पौत्रस्तु सौभद्रं समवस्थितम् । अभ्यवर्तत संहृष्टस्ततो युद्धमवर्तत
lakṣmaṇas tava pautras tu saubhadraṃ samavasthitam | abhyavartata saṃhṛṣṭas tato yuddham avartata ||
ನಂತರ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮೊಮ್ಮಗ ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಣನು ಸುಭದ್ರಾಪುತ್ರನಾದ ಸೌಭದ್ರ (ಅಭಿಮನ್ಯು) ಎದುರು ನಿಂತಿರುವುದನ್ನು ಕಂಡು ಹರ್ಷೋತ್ಸಾಹದಿಂದ ಅವನ ಮೇಲೆ ಮುನ್ನುಗ್ಗಿದನು; ಆಗ ಇಬ್ಬರ ನಡುವೆ ಯುದ್ಧ ಆರಂಭವಾಯಿತು।
