न निवर्तयितुं चापि शक््येयं महती चमू: । अन्योन्यप्रेक्षया पश्य द्रवतीयं वरूथिनी,“यह विशाल सेना इस समय पीछे नहीं लौटायी जा सकती। देखिये, सारे सैनिक एक- दूसरेकी देखा-देखी भागे जा रहे हैं

ಈ ಮಹಾಸೇನೆಯನ್ನು ಈಗ ಹಿಂದಕ್ಕೆ ತಿರುಗಿಸುವುದು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ. ನೋಡಿ—ಒಬ್ಬನು ಮತ್ತೊಬ್ಬನು ಓಡುವುದನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ತಾನೂ ಓಡುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ವ್ಯೂಹವು ಮುರಿದು ಹರಿವಿನಂತೆ ಸರಿದು ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿದೆ.
