ahaṁ ca te ’nuyāsyāmi bhīmaḥ kṛṣṇaś ca māriṣa | mādrīputrī ca sahitau draupadeyāś ca daṁśitāḥ ||
The verse highlights steadfast loyalty and coordinated action in a righteous cause: key allies and warriors commit to follow and support their leader, emphasizing disciplined unity and readiness in the performance of one’s duty (especially in the context of dharma-yuddha).
Sañjaya reports a declaration of accompaniment: he states that he too will follow, and that major Pāṇḍava figures—Bhīma, Kṛṣṇa, the sons of Mādrī (Nakula and Sahadeva), and the sons of Draupadī—are together and armed, indicating mobilization and collective resolve on the battlefield.
