Rajo-dhūli-saṃmūḍha-saṅgrāmaḥ
The Dust-Obscured Battle and Mutual Charges
ततो भीष्म: शान्तनवो नित्यं मण्डलकार्मुक:ः । मुमोच बाणान् दीप्ताग्रानहीनाशीविषानिव
tato bhīṣmaḥ śāntanavo nityaṁ maṇḍalakārmukaḥ | mumoca bāṇān dīptāgrān ahīn āśīviṣān iva ||
ಆಗ ಶಾಂತನುವಿನ ಪುತ್ರ ಭೀಷ್ಮನು, ಸದಾ ವೃತ್ತಾಕಾರವಾಗಿ ಧನುಸ್ಸನ್ನು ಎಳೆಯುವಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಪುಣನಾಗಿ, ವಿಷಸರ್ಪಗಳಂತೆ ಭಯಂಕರವಾದ ಜ್ವಲಿತ ಅಗ್ರದ ಬಾಣಗಳನ್ನು ವಿರಾಮವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಬಿಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು।
