Transliteration

ubhayoḥ senayostīvraḥ sainyānāṃ sa samāgamaḥ | antardhīyata cādityaḥ sainyena rajasāvṛtaḥ ||

Translation

ಎರಡೂ ಸೇನೆಗಳ ಸೈನಿಕರ ಆ ಘರ್ಷಣೆ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ತೀವ್ರವೂ ದುಸ್ಸಹವೂ ಆಯಿತು; ಸೇನೆಯ ಧೂಳಿನಿಂದ ಆವೃತನಾಗಿ ಆದಿತ್ಯನೂ ಅಂತರಧಾನನಾದಂತೆ ಕಂಡನು।
