न च तस्मान्मनुष्येषु कश्निन्मे प्रियकृत्तम: । भविता न च मे तस्मादन्य: प्रियतरो भुवि,उससे बढ़कर मेरा प्रिय कार्य करनेवाला मनुष्योंमें कोई भी नहीं है तथा पृथ्वीभरमें उससे बढ़कर मेरा प्रिय दूसरा कोई भविष्यमें होगा भी नहींः

na ca tasmān manuṣyeṣu kaścin me priyakṛttamaḥ | bhavitā na ca me tasmād anyaḥ priyataro bhuvi ||

ಮಾನವರಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನಿಗಿಂತ ನನ್ನಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಿಯವಾದ ಕಾರ್ಯ ಮಾಡಿದವನು ಯಾರೂ ಇಲ್ಲ; ಈ ಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಂದೆಯೂ ಅವನಿಗಿಂತ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಪ್ರಿಯನಾದ ಮತ್ತೊಬ್ಬನು ನನಗೆ ಇರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ।
