भीष्मविक्रमदर्शनं तथा क्रौञ्चारुणव्यूहविधानम् | Bhīṣma’s Ascendancy and the Organization of the Krauñcāruṇa Formation

Transliteration

ayuktaḥ prakṛtaḥ stabdhaḥ śaṭho naiṣkṛtiko 'lasaḥ | viṣādī dīrghasūtrī ca kartā tāmasa ucyate ||

Translation

ಯುಕ್ತಿಯಿಲ್ಲದ, ಶಿಕ್ಷಣವಿಲ್ಲದ, ಹಠಿ ಮತ್ತು ಅಹಂಕಾರಿ, ಕಪಟಿ ಮತ್ತು ಪರರಿಗೆ ಹಾನಿ ಮಾಡುವ, ಆಲಸ್ಯಶೀಲ, ಶೋಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಳುಗಿರುವ ಹಾಗೂ ಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಮುಂದೂಡುವ ಕರ್ತನು—ಅವನು ತಾಮಸ ಕರ್ತನೆಂದು ಹೇಳಲ್ಪಡುತ್ತಾನೆ।
