स्थितो<स्मीति च गाज्लेयस्तच्छुत्वा वाक्यमब्रवीत्‌ । धारयामास च प्राणान्‌ पतितो5पि महीतले

Transliteration

sthito 'smīti ca gājaleyas tac chrutvā vākyam abravīt | dhārayāmāsa ca prāṇān patito 'pi mahītale ||

Translation

ಸಂಜಯನು ಹೇಳಿದನು— ‘ನಾನು ಸ್ಥಿರನಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ’ ಎಂಬ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ಗಾಂಗೇಯ ಭೀಷ್ಮನು ಉತ್ತರಿಸಿದನು. ಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿದ್ದಿದ್ದರೂ ಸಹ ಅವನು ಪ್ರಾಣಗಳನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡೇ ಇದ್ದನು.
