संज्ञां चोपालभद्‌ वीर: कालं॑ संचिन्त्य भारत । अन्तरिक्षे च शुश्राव दिव्या वाच: समन्तत:,भारत! समयका विचार करके वीरवर भीष्मने अपने होश-हवाशको ठीक रखा। उस समय आकाशमें सब ओरसे दिव्य वाणी सुनायी दी

Transliteration

saṃjñāṃ copālabhad vīraḥ kālaṃ saṃcintya bhārata | antarīkṣe ca śuśrāva divyā vācaḥ samantataḥ ||

Translation

ಸಂಜಯನು ಹೇಳಿದನು— ಹೇ ಭಾರತ! ಯೋಗ್ಯ ಕಾಲವನ್ನು ಚಿಂತಿಸಿ ವೀರ ಭೀಷ್ಮನು ತನ್ನ ಸಂಜ್ಞೆಯನ್ನೂ ಸ್ಥೈರ್ಯವನ್ನೂ ಮರಳಿ ಪಡೆದನು. ಆಗ ಆಕಾಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಎಲ್ಲ ದಿಕ್ಕುಗಳಿಂದ ದಿವ್ಯ ವಾಣಿ ಮೊಳಗಿತು.
